Brendan Huntley’s Pinheads can act as talismans or guardians; memorialising significant life events or hanging above a lintel to watch over a home’s inhabitants. Flip them over to reveal an altered mood, a different presence, a new sculpture, with pins as eyes to see what’s coming in both directions. In creation, they’re meditations – personalities appearing between fingers or emerging from under pressed objects.
