Lorilee Yang
Body Container, 2021
Watercolour on paper
31 x 21cm

Lorilee Yang’s Body Container uses repetition and metaphor as a conduit for exploring the self and the imagination. The painting explores the implications of upholding and placing oneself within traditional myth and folklore. Body Container is a response to and departing from Kari Lee McInneny-McRae’s One day in a cycle.
