Because the full moon is light insomnia: numb and drowsy like after love, 2021
Pencil on paper
21 x 14.5cm
Because the full moon is light insomnia: numb and drowsy like after love is a magically tense, non-representational drawing that casts a light upon a disembodied presence through colour, rhythm and pressure. Absentminded, spineless gestures have been made to abandon the concept of halted time, abstraction and randomness, and to instead capture ever spilling streams of instances, secrets, moments and dreams naked to the human eye.
